Atlanta area MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Transfer-Encoding: 7bit Hi all, One area of applied storytelling that certainly has healing potential is in the realm of sharing/recording personal, family, organizational histories. Several of us on this list are involved in that work, and are also members of the Association of Personal Historians (www.personalhistorians.org.) I'd like to invite those of you who might be interested to check out that website and to consider coming to our southeast regional meeting, June 4-6 in the hip/funky Atlanta suburb of Decatur, Georgia. The Mythic Journeys (http://www.mythicjourneys.org/conference) is ALSO going on in Atlanta that weekend (believe me, my heart is torn, but I'm planning the APH get-together, so the decision has been made about where I'll be!) I'm attaching the APH conference registration materials, for anyone intersted. We'll be dealing with the psychological issues involved in family history interviewing, as well as marketing and cutting-edge technology for recording/preserving memoirs, etc. Please email, call me if you have any questions. Best Wishes, Audrey G.
